An Introduction
youbloom is a global company centered around bringing music lovers unique and personal experiences, in cities and distinct venues around the world.
As the UX/UI Design Intern I was tasked with the opportunity to redesign youbloom’s marketing website, this included redesigning content strategy and visual designs. Alongside this, I was tasked with updating the user experience.
Problem Statement
“youbloom needs a way to increase online engagement and user’s understanding of youbloom’s services and benefits. ”
Research
To better understand the concert ticket purchasing experience, I conducted research to identify potential competitors. Alongside this, I sought out to assist youbloom in identifying what sets them apart from their competitors.
Potential Competitor
Through my research, I discovered that all websites allowed users to purchase tickets and learn more about different artists. I also discovered that some competitors offered the opportunity for users to become street fans, which allows users to promote artists. For this reason, I advocated for the website to focus primarily on the fan persona in order to better engage users.

With the initial research process completed, I set out to create the skeleton of youbloom by creating an initial user flow and a site map for the website. I later moved on to creating both low fidelity wireframes and high fidelity wireframes through the use of the Sketch program.
User Flow Map
The intentions behind creating a user flow were to understand the step-by-step process a fan may experience, from signing up to purchasing a concert ticket. This map was also used to predict any roadblocks that the fan may have while utilizing the youbloom website.
Site Map
A site map was created to ensure that the user always knows where they are and can easily recover from errors that may be presented.
Lo-Fi Wireframes
At this point in the process, I created low fidelity wireframes to solidify the information architecture, layout, and overall functionality of the youbloom website.
